Types of licenses
SINGLE USER LICENSE, Professional Use
for installation on one business computer and one laptop or home computer if the licensed single user is the prime user of each installation.
MULTI-USER SITE LICENSE, Professional use
for installation on up to 10 computers or workstations at one location. May be purchased in multiples for large offices or multiple locations.
ACADEMIC, Instructional use
INSTRUCTOR - SINGLE USER for instructors in an accredited educational institution. The software license is for educational or instruction use only.
INSTRUCTOR - SITE LICENSE for installation on all computers in one lab or classroom at an accredited educational institution for educational use only.

Licenses are available for use in the United States and Canada. The proper software use requires a fundamental knowledge of structural design, local building codes and construction practices, as stated in the license agreement. BeamChek is a design tool for experienced structural design professionals.
Minimum System Requirements:
PC running Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10 or 11 in 32
bit or 64 bit. Individual PC installation (of approximately 7 MB) is
recommended for networks.
Software
is provided as a download only, with all publications available at
anytime on our Publications Page. The manual is also in the help file
within the software.
Your
receipt will have a temporary unlock for the demo in case you must get to
work right away. We will contact you in a day or so by email with an unlock code and
permanent license registration number, or a verified registration number if
you are upgrading.
We do not have a MAC version, however several offices are successfully running BeamChek with emulation software
or Macs with the Intel chip and Windows.

Purchase Orders are accepted only from municipalities and accredited schools. The order must be placed by phone or mail with a Signed and Numbered Purchase Order with full contact information. Prices are in US Dollars. Washington State Residents will have sales tax added to their order.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOAD:
1. We are no longer shipping CD Roms and hard copy manuals. All
software is provided via internet download and all publications are
available on the Publications Page at BeamChek.com. If you are new to
BeamChek, we strongly recommend you review the "BeamChek Examples" on
the publications page.
2. You will receive a temporary unlock code for the Demo on your
emailed order acknowledgement/receipt. Enter it on the opening screen
of the demo to unlock all of
the features. It will be followed by an email with your BeamChek
Registration number (or verification of number for upgrades) and an
unlock code.
3. Permanent Registration Numbers and the unlock codes are usually sent the same day of receipt and processing of your order.
4. Please make sure you are trying to unlock the correct version of the software as sometimes your cached browser pages will take you to an old webpage. If necessary, clear your browser history cache.
